Rosh Hashanah Day II Nature Walk

Friday, September 22, 2017 • 2 Tishrei 5778

10:15 AM - 11:00 AM

It is in the wilderness where our tradition finds its roots and natural places provide a unique setting to connect to our heritage. The paths of beautiful Edith G. Read Sanctuary (reached by driving through the Playland parking lot) provide an ideal location for a 45 minute nature walk to consider the world in which we live as we celebrate Creation. This walk is open to all ages and will be a fun, meaningful way to continue the Rosh Hashanah celebration. (Please remember to wear walking shoes.) Following our walk, we move to the beach for the beautiful Tashlich ceremony.

* Directions to the Edith G. Read Sanctuary:
From I-95, take Exit 19 (Playland Parkway) to Playland. Pass through the Playland parking booths and continue straight through the parking area and to the right behind the Dragon Roller Coaster. There is a second gate here. Pass through the gate and continue straight down the road into the sanctuary. There is a parking area in front of the nature center.
