Our tradition teaches that a synagogue needs to serve as a house of community, a house of prayer and a house of learning. At Congregation Emanu-El of Westchester clergy, professional staff and congregants partner to make this ideal a reality. Our worship services, holiday celebrations, religious school, social action work, adult learning opportunities, and social occasions help to bring us together as a community as we celebrate the Jewish values that make us who we are.
We are proud to be a diverse synagogue community of nearly 400 families welcoming all who wish to participate in Jewish life: singles, couples and families in all their forms; interfaith couples; individuals with disabilities; all people regardless of age, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, or financial means. All of us come together to Celebrate Modern Jewish Life making our community of communities a truly unified congregation.
Please explore our site to read about the myriad of opportunities for Jewish engagement available at Congregation Emanu-El of Westchester. You will find something for everyone, wherever you are on your Jewish Journey. That said, this website is only the beginning, please do not hesitate to call the temple to set up a time to speak with me or any of my colleagues about what membership in our community can mean for your family.
Wishing you joy and blessings on your Jewish journey.
