Tot Shabbat at Congregation Emanu-El!
Our clergy and education staff present an amazing opportunity each Friday for you to welcome the Sabbath with the special toddler in your life. The spirit of Shabbat fills the room with music and stories that inspire and delight. With blessings over the candles, wine and grape juice, and challah, we'll have a little nosh while instilling the Jewish values we all hold so dear. Tot Shabbat times: 10:15 a.m. starting Friday, October 8th. Check the Temple calendar.

Our teens are partnering with AYFA Foundation to help Haiti relief effort
AYFA Foundation collects surplus medical supplies from NY area hospitals and ships them to doctors in Africa and the Caribbean. It gets help to those that are desperately in need of supplies. The warehouse is in Yonkers. They are in need of sorting help in their warehouse and are thrilled to have volunteers. They also need tents donated for shelter as well as rain boots. For more information go to AYFAfoundation.org

Intergenerational Torah Study
A Religious School program targeted at pre-Bar/Bat Mitzvah students who are assisted in their studies by older teens, parents and older congregants. Held on Sundays, all are welcome to participate. First we meet with Rabbi Pein to be briefed on the Torah portion to be discussed with the students; we then break into small groups to plan our study, and thereafter spend about 40 minutes with our assigned students.

Our Kindergarten is Blooming
Do you have a kindergarten age child or grandchild who would like to begin Jewish learning and celebrating?  Our temple has a unique Kindergarten program that meets 7 times a year on Sunday mornings at 9:00 to learn about the Jewish holidays.
