DESCRIPTION:A whole book of the Torah is dedicated to the work of the Levit
 es\, the people who managed the details\, logistics\, set-up\, and finance
 s of the ancient Temple in Jerusalem. That so much of our most scared book
  is about the Levites shows that it is\, in fact\, holiness that is “in 
 the details”. Those volunteers who serve as committee members and chairs
  are the Levites of today. And just as the Levitical work was holy in anci
 ent time\, so too is the work of Emanu-El’s dedicated volunteers.\nTo he
 lp make our committees as effective as possible and to help build an even 
 stronger sense of community and purpose\, committees will meet on the same
  nights over the course of the coming year. We’re calling these evenings
  Committees In Community.\n\nGet Involved! We have a number of committees 
 that would welcome your participation\, input\, and support. If you are in
