DESCRIPTION:Jews have been praying for thousands of years\, and while the s
 pecifics of the prayers have evolved and changed over time\, the overall s
 tructure has remained the same. From ancient blessings written by the rabb
 is\, to the liturgical poems written by poets and musicians\, every Jew is
  capable of putting a bit of themself into their worship. Leading prayer d
 oes not require ordination\, and it is with this belief that each of us ca
 n aspire to serve as a Shaliach Tzibur\, a "prayer leader." In this multip
 art class\, we will review the liturgical structure of our Friday night wo
 rship: the words of tefillah (prayer)\, the power of kavanah (intention)\,
