DESCRIPTION:Ben Shahn’s art captured the big issues of his time\, from th
 e Great Depression to the Vietnam War\, while also reflecting his engageme
 nt with spirituality and Jewish texts. The exhibition features 175 works f
 rom the 1930s–1960s\, including paintings\, prints\, photographs\, and d
 esigns. Together\, they reveal his shift from documentary realism to more
