1:45PM      Rosh Hashanah Youth Service: New readers welcome the New Year with an age appropriate service that blends prayer and music, reflection and story telling.

3:00PM      Rosh Hashanah Young Families Service & Rosh Hashanah Taste of Sweetness for Young FamiliesYoung Families with pre-readers are invited for a warm, community service filled with song and stories! Immediately after the service, stay for apples and honey, arts and crafts and games at our Taste of Sweetness Rosh Hashanah celebration. Ages: 8 and under. Older siblings are always welcome! Services are open to the public.

10:15AM   Rosh Hashanah Nature Walk & Tashlich (at Edith G. Read Sanctuary, Rye)It is in the wilderness where our tradition finds its roots and natural places provide a unique setting to connect to our heritage. The paths of beautiful Edith G. Read Sanctuary (reached by driving through the Playland parking lot) provide an ideal location for a 45 minute nature walk to consider the world in which we live as we celebrate Creation. This walk is open to all ages and will be a fun, meaningful way to continue the Rosh Hashanah celebration. (Please remember to wear walking shoes.) Following our walk, we move to the beach for the beautiful Tashlich ceremony.

2:15PM     Yom Kippur Young Families Service: Pre-readers will get their first taste of the High Holy Days with plenty of music and story telling.
