Weekly Mitzvah: Gratitude for our Teachers

As we studied this year, the Hebrew term for gratitude is hakarat ha-tov. The rabbis of the Talmud (Berachot 28b) teach us to say a prayer expressing our hakarat ha-tov as we leave a house of study. The prayer specifically shares our thanks for the opportunity to learn with our teachers.

As our school year draws to a close with our final online session for students on Tuesday, May 19, at 4:00 pm, we have the opportunity to express our hakarat ha-tov for our teachers.

Please create a digital card or write a note sharing your hakarat ha-tov for your religious and Hebrew school teachers and tutors and email it  here for us to share with them.
