When

April 27, 2021
7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Though saving a life is a supreme Jewish value, many Jews do not take the opportunity to donate life-saving organs after death despite strong support from all major denominations of Judaism. Why are some so hesitant? This program will provide a statistical overview, demystify the myths surrounding the organ donation process and address relevant issues of Halakha & Jewish medical ethics. Co-sponsored by LiveOnNY, a nonprofit organization committed to helping others live on through organ and tissue donation and to caring for the families touched by donation. Learn more.
