Each year at this time we honor the life and work of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by recommitting ourselves to the important work of social justice. As Jews working toward a more just society, we know that the vital work of tikkun olam – repairing the world – is not complete. By honoring the efforts of our Social Justice and Social Action committees, we reaffirm our dedication to seeing a better world. This meaningful service will feature social justice themed readings and music.
