The Farah Family Hineini Program (7th Grade)

“We will do and we will understand.” - Exodus 24

Our 7th grade Farah Family Hineini Program students go out into our community and put the Jewish values they have learned into action making our world a better place and writing the next chapter of our Jewish story. This service-learning model has transformed Sunday mornings for our students and their families. Contact Jane for more information.

This program is funded by the generosity of The Farah Family.

Academy (8th Grade)

“The more study the more wisdom.” - Hillel

Our 8th graders continue their Jewish journeys by exploring how being Jewish informs their everyday lives. Contact Rabbi Ross for more information.

Confirmation (9th & 10th Grades)

“The world stands on three things, on Torah, on worship and on acts of loving kindness.” - Pirket Avot

Our 9th and 10th graders spend a year studying with Rabbi Goldsmith exploring many facets of Jewish identity, theology and meaning. The teens finish the year knowing where they fit in the story of the Jewish people. Contact Rabbi Goldsmith for more information.

Israel Fellows for 11th & 12th Graders

This year, we partner with the rabbis and educators of several local congregations to offer a six-week fellowship for high school juniors and seniors built around two core topics: Israel and Jewish pluralism. All of our 11th and 12th grade students will have the opportunity to join together for six evening sessions with peers from our neighboring congregations to learn together with top Israel and Jewish educators, get to know their Jewish neighbors, and feel prepared and comfortable engaging in conversations about Israel and participating in pluralistic Jewish community beyond the walls of their home congregations. Contact Rabbi Ross for more information.

Youth Group

“And the youth shall see visions.” - Joel 2:28

With a strong emphasis on social action, our Youth Group builds community while making our community a better place. And they do it all while having fun! We have planned another busy year that will help to build a meaningful connection between our teens, our congregation, and the broader community. Watch Emanumail and the bulletin for more information on these events. Contact Jane for more information.
